Griffith University Campus and the recently constructed Gold Coast University Hospital are two major sites located on busy Olsen Avenue in the northern suburbs of the Gold Coast, Queensland.
Project Design Brief
To accommodate anticipated higher traffic volumes entering the recently redeveloped University Hospital precinct, QLD Transport and Main Roads (TMR) deemed it necessary to increase the capacity of Olsen Avenue from one lane each way to three lanes each way.
ACO's Solution
ACO’s cable enclosures were chosen to meet QLD TMR’s strict standards for cable pits and lids.
QLD TMR has very specific requirements for cable pits and lids, requiring ACO to be a certified supplier of these products where product components and work flow procedures are compliant to Main Roads Standards.
For specific contracts, complete systems are currently delivered with batch related material and test certification providing full traceability to every step in ACO’s supply chain.
